What is Age Friendly? An age-friendly world enables people of all ages to actively participate in community activities and treats everyone with respect, regardless of their age. It is a place that makes it easy for older adults to stay connected to people that are important to them.

Well Connected is a free telephone and online community program consisting of participants, staff, facilitators, presenters, and other volunteers brought to you by Covia. Each Well Connected session offers groups and classes on a wide range of topics and meets 365 days a year, so there’s always a chance to connect.

Marin County Free Library

The Marin County Free Library offers many other services in addition to reading materials. Library Beyond Walls brings materials to homebound patrons and the Literacy program serves both families and individuals. Furthermore, through their website, or eBranch, they continue to provide information and reading material for patrons at home, work, or school even when their physical branches are closed. They offer access to over 400,000 streaming and downloadable eBooks, eAudiobooks, videos, and digital magazines.

We have partnered with Highway61 to offer you real-time, conversation groups including Aging Alone Support Group, Trivia, French Culture, Entrepreneurs Circle, Opera, Classic Movies, and more. Seniors from all over the US are on Highway61 and it is a great way to stay connected. College of Marin

The Fall schedule features over 100 different enrichment classes that will be offered on Zoom, allowing participants to engage with a range of topics and connect with others from home.

We are excited to adapt community education courses to support a safe experience during this time and make Fall learning opportunities available widely. Registration begins July 28th, and scholarships are available by application for older adults to register at reduced rates!
