Vivalon Family Dinners

Help Feed Your Neighbors

The Coronavirus outbreak continues to pose an unprecedented threat to our already at-risk community here in Marin County. This includes our neighbors in the Canal district and many other neighborhood families. Many of these multi-generational families, with limited or no access to government sponsored relief programs, are disproportionately impacted by economic and health issues, including food insecurity. For these reasons, Vivalon is proud to support a program to help feed our neighbors, friends, and families throughout this crisis.

“Vivalon Family Dinners” will provide healthy and delicious pre-cooked dinners that are enough to feed families of four. Stacy Scott Catering, a well-respected caterer in Marin cooks and packages the family meals. Families re-heat the dinners to enjoy.

The dinners will be distributed weekly at the Canal Alliance Food Pantry in San Rafael. With the support of generous people in our community we will raise $64,000 to be able to give 600 people in need with dinners each week through the end of 2020. This effort will provide 12,000 dinners between August and the end of the year.
